HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu was named the second priciest city for summer travel this year, in a new TripAdvisor Survey.
Orlando took the top spot, and Seattle rounded out the top three.
New Orleans was the least expensive U.S. destination, followed by Houston and Las Vegas.
The survey found that the average four-star hotel in Honolulu cost $436 per night. A 2-mile Uber trip cost $24, while the average dinner for two cost $121.
The ranking comes as Hawaii enjoys a tourism boom, with record-high levels of people visiting the islands.
Meanwhile, the least expensive international destination was Hanoi, Vietnam, where the average four-star hotel room cost $79 a night and a dinner for two cost $55.
