HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Tradewind conditions will hold through Sunday, with a few light windward showers and lots of leeward sunshine.
Late Sunday a remnant low from what is now Tropical Storm Celia will move just north of the islands, making winds light and variable by Monday. Celia's leftovers could bring in heavy rainfall Monday through Tuesday.
The humid and uncomfortable weather will stay with us for the next several days with the possibility of another tropical system approaching from the east later next week.
A Small Craft Advisory is posted for the usually windier waters around Maui County and the Big Island.
South shores will hold with head-high sets on the current swell. A larger advisory level swell is due in Sunday from Hurricane Celia.
