HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Moisture from former Hurricane Blas is dripping over the state. Windward neighborhoods will see the most rain through the morning, drying up as the showers move west in the afternoon.
Slightly stronger tradewinds will pick up Friday and Saturday.
Surf is coming up today on the south side. A new SSW swell will peak Friday and stay below advisory levels. Energy from Tropical Storm Celia will create advisory-sized surf along east shores this weekend. NWS forecast for today: 3-5 feet east, building to 3-5 feet south, building to 2-4 feet west, 1-3 feet north.
