City to host transit-oriented development community meeting in Waipahu

WAIPAHU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The future of Waipahu will be up for discussion Wednesday night.

The City and County of Honolulu is hosting a transit-oriented development community meeting to discuss ways to improve streets, sidewalks, trails and parks. This is all centered around the rail station that will be built at Farrington Highway and Mokuola Street.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Waipahu High School cafeteria.
