HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Very few showers and lots of sunshine for your Tuesday.

The afternoon high in Honolulu will be 88 degrees. Thankfully the trades will blow a little stronger today, 15-20 mph with some stronger gusts.

Surf is declining but will be back up both south and east later this week. South swell will approach advisory levels starting Thursday. Energy from Celia will kick up east side coasts about the same time.

The National Weather Service forecast for today: 3-5 feet east, 1-3 feet south and west, 0-2 feet north. No marine or weather advisories are posted.
