Mariota feels "rejuvenated" heading into second season

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - For Marcus Mariota, training camp is just weeks away, but Friday morning Hawaii's Heisman winner got a chance to enjoy a piece of home while shooting a commercial for Island Insurance at Kamehame Ridge.

"It's fun to come out here and come to places," said Mariota. "I've never been up here. It's special. To be able to kind of see the beauty of the island, it's a good reminder of how grateful we are to live here.".

While Mariota may be enjoying some down time back home, the Titans QB is still looking ahead to the coming season. With the offseason additions of two-time Pro Bowler DeMarco Murray, former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews and fellow Heisman winner Derrick Henry, Mariota is excited to get back to work in Nashville.

"With the amount of veteran guys that we brought in, Rishard Matthews from the Dolphins, Demarco Murray, and then to add on top of that the rookies that are excited and motivated to get going. The talent is going to really help us out," said Mariota. "I think it's rejuvenated me, and I'm really motivated for this year."

Titans will training camp will begin on July 30th.
