Mars Mission Scientist to speak at TedX

He has a unique background that makes him qualified to be a Mars mission scientist. Bryan Cadwell is the project manager for the NASA sponsored Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation (HI-SEAS) that is taking place on the Big Island. It's a program where scientists study the behavior and performance of astronaut-like crews of 6 in isolation for up to a year on the slopes of Mauna Kea. They want to simulate what life would be like if we were to live on Mars.

At Cornell University, he studied nutrition during weightlessness and has experienced ZeroG to study the effect of cooking with lunar or Mars like gravity.He also has a background in professional theater and event lighting. He has been invited to speak at the upcoming TedX Honolulu conference at the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall. It will be held at 10:00 am on July 9, 2016.
