People in the entertainment industry are reacting to the Dallas police shooting. Actor Kevin Hart posted video comments on Instagram.
Twitter lit up with comments. Singer Demi Lovato wrote "My heart hurts. God help us."
Singer John Legend posted on Twitter "These Dallas shootings are horrific. Killing these officers is morally reprehensible and completely counterproductive to keeping us safe."
You know actor George Takei from his famous role as Lieutenant Sulu in the original 'Star Trek' series. He's been an outspoken LGBT activist. Well, there's news that the character he played will be portrayed as gay in the new "Star Trek' movie. Takei told the Hollywood reporter he's "delighted that there's a gay character," however that's not how the show's creator, Gene Roddenberry, envisioned Lt. Sulu. He said quote "Unfortunately, it's a twisting of Gene's creation, to which he put in so much thought. I think it's really unfortunate."
Hilo is the home of Kuana Torres Kahele but it's also the home of something else that he left on a video on Facebook: he says on Facebook, "Kani ana ka leo o ke koki. Ka manu hokio o ke ahiahi. If you've never gotten to see or hear Hilo's own, manu hokio (coqui). Then here ya go!"

Brent Anbe from the Hawaii Five-0 casting office posted this picture for the open casting call this Sunday. As you can see they're looking for looks of all kinds. He also posted "IF YOUVE BEEN ON PREVIOUS SEASONS YOU'RE STILL ON FILE AND DON'T NEED TO ATTEND. YOU'RE GOOD!"
