HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A High Surf Advisory remains in effect for the south-facing shores of all islands.
The incoming swell is building Friday and is expected to last through Saturday.
Waves of 6 to 9 feet are expected.
The Surf Advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. on Sunday.
Forecasters are also monitoring swell energy generated by Hurricane Blas to the east of the Hawaiian islands. It will likely bring high surf to the islands' east-facing shores.
