Yesterday we were live out at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Kahanamoku Lagoon where the blessing for Season 7 of Hawaii Five-0 was being held. Most of the principals on the show were in attendance with a lot of the filming crew greeting each other with hugs, handshakes and telling each other welcome back; a beautiful morning with a great view of Leahi in the background.
But we were also streaming on Facebook Live; Alex O'Loughlin was surprised at all of the reaction as we interviewed him separately for the Facebook audience. Along with the many hearts and likes streaming across the screen, it reached according to Facebook, some 979,000 people who left about 1600 comments and 408 shares. We're expecting those numbers to go up today...and Grace Park commented during our interviews how she just wants to make a quality television show.
It was interesting in talking to Grace Park...we took her over for the Facebook LIVE interview after we talked to her here on Sunrise; we had to explain to her what Facebook LIVE is....
