Authorities identify motorcyclist, 32, killed in crash on H-1 Freeway near airport

EAST HONOLULU, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The motorcyclist killed in a crash near the H-1 airport Freeway airport exit off-ramp Saturday has been identified as 32-year-old Raheem Terry.

Authorities said the Honolulu man failed to negotiate a turn on the off-ramp and flipped over the concrete barrier.

He landed on a lower ramp and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Terry was driving a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle about 2:30 a.m. when the accident happened.

Police said it's unknown if speed or alcohol are factors in the crash.

An autopsy is pending.

The traffic fatality is the 25th so far this year, compared to 27 at the same time last year.
