Christenson gets match winner for USA in World League

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Not often does a right handed setter get the match winner with a left handed kill, but that's exactly what Kamehameha product, Micah Christenson did for team USA on Friday as they topped Bulgaria 3-1 in World League play.

The tournament is somewhat of a warm-up for the red, white, and blue before they head to Rio.

Christenson recorded four digs, two blocks and three kills against Bulgaria. Fellow local product, libero, Erik Shoji recorded 11 digs.

They will face off with Australia tomorrow at 2:30 HST.
