HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu was ranked 137th safest city to drive in the 2016 America's Best Drivers Reports by Allstate.

The report says Hawaii drivers have a collision on an average of 8.4 years.

Furthermore, Hawaii drivers come to a hard brake about 10 times for every 1,000 miles driven.

While the results for Honolulu aren't exceptional, the city did improve compared to last year's ranking at 150th place.

The safest city to drive for 2016 was Brownsville, Texas.

New York City and Los Angeles ranked behind Honolulu.

Boston came in last again this year, with a collision occurring at an average of 3.7 years.
