HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Gusty tradewinds take over Thursday and will hold at 15-30 mph through the weekend.
Meanwhile, a disturbance is moving in from the west with increasing showers, mainly for Kauai and Oahu's windward neighborhoods.
Heavy rain is possible tonight and Thursday. Drier conditions are expected for the weekend, however another boost of showers is due for the Fourth of July.
Also, box jellyfish are expected to invade south shores today through Friday. Check with lifeguards before you or the kids jump in the ocean. Waves are small all around.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for Maalaea Bay along with Pailolo and Alenuihaha channels.
