HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Happy Birthday to a famous local girl celebrating today:  Nicole Scherzinger wrote "Thank you to everyone for all my beautiful #birthday wishes! I feel so truly #blessed today."  She was thrown a party in a Central London Nightclub by Drake and Rhianna that went until 5:30am.

For the first time in 7-years, the W-W-E is live in Hawaii.  Your favorite wrestling superstars will take to the mat tonight at the Blaisdell.  The strongmen and women of W-W-E Live include Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho, Bray Wyatt, New Day, Kevin Owens, The Usos, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Asuka, Charlotte, and more.

We showed video from Mele Apana of Kumu Hula Maelia Carter & Ka Pa Hula O Kauanoe O Wa'ahila was the house halau for last weekend's festivities/summer concert series at Waimea Valley!  Kumu Hula Maelia just got home from Japan where she was part of the Ho'ike Lanakila; she was also my co-host for this years' Merrie Monarch Festival.

Also video of Hawaii recording artist Keale singing from his Facebook page; Walt Keale comes from a very famous musical family; his Uncle is Moe Keale and his cousins are Israel and Skippy Kamakawiwo'ole.

We got Henry Kapono video while singing "About You", Henry will be celebrating the July 4th weekend at one of his usual places; Dukes Waikiki.  He posted the video yesterday saying:  "This weekend is all "About You", come share your ?#‎Aloha? with us in Waikiki today at Tropics and Tomorrow at Dukes. ?#‎welcometomyparadise".

Intense fish story and video from Kauai; this is the first place catch in the Garden Island Trollers Tournament.  Paka Largusa and Peter Berg were fishing about 5 miles off  when they snagged the giant fish.; as they were trying to pull it in, with the boat rocking, Paka actually went overboard.  All their friends and family got some cuts of that fish.  Paka says it is the biggest ahi he's ever caught.
