What's trending - Tony Hawk does it again, Hawaii Island Humane Society, Atlas of Beauty and vacuum loving dog

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Skateboarder Tony Hawk made history 17 years ago when he landed a 900 degree spin in a competition. At the age of 48, he decided to attempt it again. After multiple tries, he nailed it! Hawk said that will be the last time he ever does that.

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce gave its Pualu award to the Hawaii Island Humane Society for its innovative new program. It allows people to take a dog for the day and then return it that afternoon. The dog gets fresh air, exercise and some love. In the field trip program, the Humane Society hopes that this will boost overall adoption rates.

It's called the "Atlas of Beauty". Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc quit her job 2 years ago and traveled the world capturing stunning photographs of women. She tries to capture their natural beauty to show that no matter what race, ethnicity or religion, there is beauty to be found.

One man tried to explain why he's having so much trouble cleaning his house. It's his dog's fault, not because he sheds, but because he loves the vacuum so much, the man can't get to the floors.
