Forecast: Thunderstorms possible later this week

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Breezy tradewinds will persist through Tuesday, weakening briefly Wednesday, then restrengthening again for the rest of the week.

A disturbance is due Wednesday with increasing clouds and showers, possible thunderstorms might fire up through Thursday, drying up for the weekend.

Surf will be dropping along south and west shores today. The choppy wind swell continues along east shores. The NWS forecast 2-4 feet south and west, 2-4 feet east, 1-3 feet north.

Small Craft Advisory for Maalaea Bay, channels east of Molokai, and coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
