Light winds and passing showers this morning. Breezy trades and filtered sunshine this afternoon. High clouds will block some of our sunshine.

High in Honolulu will be 87 degrees.

High pressure far north of the state will maintain moderate to breezy trades through much of the coming work week. Clouds and passing showers will favor windward and mauka areas, with mainly dry conditions leeward. Lighter and wetter trade winds will dampen Wednesday and Thursday.

Surf is peaking along south and west shores today. The choppy wind swell continues along east shores. The National Weather Service forecast calls for 3-5 feet south and west, 2-4 feet east, 1-3 feet north.

Small Craft Advisory for Maalaea Bay, channels east of Molokai, and coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
