HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A Sacramento man wanted by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office on an arrest warrant for rape was booked Thursday night by Honolulu police, US Marshals and FBI agents.

Timmy Miller, 48, was arrested just after 7 p.m. after he was tracked to the Wal-Mart on Keeaumoku.

He was found in a vehicle on the first level of the parking structure.

Before the Sacramento Superior and Municipal Court issued a $3,000,000 warrant for his arrest on June 9, Miller had already fled from Sacramento to Honolulu.

Miller has an extensive and violent criminal history that includes lewd and lascivious acts with a minor by force, battery, assault with a deadly weapon, strong arm robbery, resisting law enforcement, assault with a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer, escape, child cruelty, kidnapping with violence, narcotics possession, and extortion.

Officials say Miller resisted at first, but complied once he saw the presence of all the officers. Miller was taken into custody without further incident.

He is expected to be extradited back to California.
