A soft opening was held on Tuesday to welcome the public to the new Satellite City Hall facility at Kapalama Hale.
The opening showcased the city hall's new AlohaQ push-notification queuing system, which was designed to save customers time by reducing the need to wait in line. To learn more about AlohaQ, click here.
The Satellite City Hall will be open for services from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Services include motor vehicle registration; real property tax payments; water bill payments; bicycle, moped, and dog licensing; spay/neuter certificates; disabled person's parking permits; TheBus pass sales; voter registration; and fireworks permits.
The Satellite City Hall is the first of many city offices that are expected to occupy Kapalama Hale.
