50th State Fair is going to the dogs

Following in her grandparents’ footsteps, third-generation dog trainer Joanne Wilson has been training animals and working in circuses since she was 11 years old.  Her dogs have appeared in two movies and were stars in the Broadway stage shows Will Rogers Follies, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and A Christmas story.

The 50th State Fair is being held at the Aloha Stadium.  The last weekend of the fair is June 24, 25, & 26.  Hours are on Friday from 6pm to closing; Saturday from 4pm to closing; Sunday from noon to closing. 

Circus show times are Friday & Saturday at 7:30pm & 9:30pm and on Sunday at 4pm, 7pm, & 9pm. Admission to the Circus is free once you are on the fairgrounds.
