HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A judge threw out a state ethics ruling that prevented teachers from taking free trips that they were chaperoning. Now, they can. Howard tells us that 31 trips had to be canceled because of the initial ruling. He points out that teachers work around-the-clock on school trips and shouldn't be treated like they did something wrong, if their trip is paid for.

Steve tells us about the "cheerio challenge". It started on the blog called "life of dad" which issued the challenge to fathers everywhere. The goal is to stack cheerios on your baby's face. The ones with the most cheerios wins the challenge.

And Dan shares his worst nightmare, a glass floored slide that starts 70 stories up in Los Angeles. Its called "Skyslide" and it's in the U.S. Bank Tower, the highest tower on the west coast. The slide and the observation deck open to the public on June 25th.
