Over 11,000 pounds of clothes were collected by a non-profit organization for local charities on Saturday.

Locations Foundation, a not-for-profit arm of Locations LLC, the state’s largest locally owned and operated real estate agency, held its 6th annual clothing drive. The foundation received casual and business apparel from the public, and it also matched $1 for the 11,030 pounds of clothes donated.

The donations will be distributed among three charities: United Cerebral Palsy, Partners in Development Ka Paalana and Institute for Human Services, Inc.

This year was the first year Locations Foundations reached out to the public for donations and it’s also the first time IHS is a beneficiary of the clothing drive.
