MANOA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The University of Hawaii has launched a hotline for whistleblowers to report fraud, waste, abuse or other conduct that might be in violation of law or university policy.

The hotline is handled by a third party, EthicsPoint, so whistleblowers can remain anonymous.

The hotline is available 24 hours a day at 1-855-874-2849. Reports can also be made online.

UH announced the hotline Wednesday, saying it "further advances the university's commitment to encourage and enable any member of UH or the general public to make good faith reports of misconduct."
