Breezy trade winds will continue through the rest of the work week and diminish somewhat during the weekend.

Wetter than normal trade showers will continue into today with the majority falling on windward neighborhoods. Leeward areas will see passing showers. High today in Honolulu will be around 87 degrees. A drier air mass will move in from the east tonight and tomorrow.

Turning to surf, buoy readings are running higher than the most recent model guidance this morning and continue to support advisory-level surf along south shores. Rough surf along east facing shores will continue through the rest of the week due to a combination of strong onshore winds and an easterly swell that has become established upstream of the islands.

The National Weather Service surf forecast calls for south and east 5-8 feet, west 4-6 feet, north 1-3 feet.

High Surf Advisory posted for all south and east shores.

Small Craft Advisory posted for all coastal and channel waters.
