HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Island Air will be offering flights to Kona starting on Tuesday, June 14.
There will be five daily services between Kona and Honolulu, giving interisland travelers and tourists more options.
Currently, the company flies to Oahu, Maui and Kauai.
Travelers on Maui and Kauai will be able to fly to and fro from Kona by stopping at Honolulu International Airport.
Service to Kona is the second addition the company has made this year. In January, the company restored flights to Lihue, Kauai. However, the company discontinued services to Lanai in March.
