Theft suspect led officers on island-wide police chase

KAILUA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Honolulu police arrested 24-year-old Bryson Bragio Jr. after  leading them on a two-hour island-wide chase that started on the North Shore on Wednesday.

The chase began in the Turtle Bay area just after 7:30 a.m. when officers were responding to a report of a stolen truck with an ATV attached.

By the time Bragio got to Kunia, the ATV had broken off, but he continued through Aiea and Kaneohe, where he hit a car.

The chase ended at the intersection of Oneawa and Kaha Street in Kailua where Bragio was arrested.

Bragio faces numerous charges, including reckless driving and driving without a license.
