Moderate to breezy trade winds will continue across the state through the next several days.

Mainly dry conditions with passing windward showers will prevail today through the rest of the work week. Showers are forecast to increase during the weekend and into early next week, as an area of enhanced moisture and upper level instability moves over the state.

Surf along the southern shores will begin to rise as early as late Wednesday, then steadily climb through Saturday before peaking Sunday and Sunday night. Some of the typically larger south-side surf spots could see surf heights a few feet above advisory level over the weekend. Waves today are small all around.

Small Craft Advisory for waters around Kauai and Maui County channels.
