Middle school students get mentored in fashion

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's called "Reach the Runway". It's a free 4 month program for boys and girls who are in middle school and interested in fields like fashion design, journalism, photography,magazine design, hair and makeup, styling and modeling. It's part of Honolulu Fashion Week and aims to give students a broader understanding of these fields.

Interested students must submit a 300 word essay on what Hawaii Fashion means to them by June 15th. For more information, go to reachtherunway.com.
