KALIHI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A police investigation shut down all westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway in Kalihi early Monday, causing a traffic gridlock for about an hour.
Lanes were shut down around 6:45 a.m. near the Gulick Avenue overpass. Police later moved the closure closer to the Houghtailing Street exit.
All lanes were reopened around 7:50 a.m.
The Honolulu Police Department did not release further information into the investigation.
