KO OLINA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - By Jolanie Martinez
Got $17,000 lying around?
That's what the most expensive suite at the newly-opened Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina will cost you a night.
Regular rooms start at a cool $709.
The 371-room hotel was formerly the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort, which closed about a year and a half ago.
While the resort opened Friday, plans call for even more rooms.
Plans include a 15-story tower with 150 luxurious residential units, ranging from $5 million to $10 million.
"It was a magical resort and we've just added a little more magic having the Four Seasons here," said Sangiv Hulugalle, general manager of the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko'olina.
"We're delighted to come into Oahu and make it a new era of luxury."
