Over the past few years buyers have been challenged with limited inventory and rising prices. They scramble to make offers and continue to lose out to other buyers. Year to date Buyers have paid 98.6% of the Seller's List Price to Purchase a home and 100% of the Seller's List Price to purchase a condo, which is up by 2.3% compared to last year. This means buyers are continuing to lose the battle of negotiation because they are competing with other buyers for the same home. A recent survey of CBP agents found 18% of Listings got only 1 offer, 31% received 2 offers, 21% received 3 offers and 31% received 4 or more offers.
