HANAPEPE, KAUAI (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Autopsies have determined that all five victims of Monday's Skydive Kauai plane crash died of multiple blunt force trauma.

Kauai police on Wednesday also confirmed the identities of the five on board. They are:

  • Pilot Damien Horan, 30, of Kauai
  • Instructor Enzo Amitrano, 43, of Koloa
  • Instructor Wayne Rose, 26, of Hanapepe
  • Tandem jumper Marshall Cabe, 25, of Lawton, Okla.
  • Tandem jumper Phillip Cabe, 27 of Lawton, Okla.

In emotional social media posts and interviews, friends and families remembered the victims of the plane crash, which happened about 9:30 a.m. Monday, shortly after takeoff from Port Allen Airport.

A witness said he could hear the engine sputtering, and saw the plane beginning to turn back toward the airport when the engines cut out and the aircraft burst into flames.

The crash sent plumes of heavy smoke into the air, and sparked a small brush fire. The NTSB is investigating the crash.

In a statement, Kauai Police Chief Darryl Perry said, "Our heartfelt condolences go out to the victims’ family and loved ones during this terribly difficult time. Our entire community is saddened by the loss of these men.”
