Interview: Hongwanji Mission School has Summer Classes!

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - School is almost pau and if you haven't made plans for your keiki yet we've got some ideas.  David Randall is Head of School at the Hongwanji Mission School.

The Hongwanji Mission School located in Nu'uanu Valley, adjacent to downtown Honolulu, our main campus facilities include a library, an art room, a technology lab, music room, gym, green space and swimming pool.

Their Six-Week Summer program starts on June 6th  and ends on July 15th .  Our Summer Program is open to students entering Grades 1 - 8 from public and other private schools.

The morning subjects include Art, STEM-based Science classes,  language arts, mathematics through pre-algebra, sports, and Japanese language. Students remaining in the afternoon will enjoy mini classes in multi-cultural activities, swimming, basketball, volleyball, martial arts, art, crafts, yoga, acting/music/singing classes with Ohana Arts.
