KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 59-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the back at a Kalihi church on Saturday.
Honolulu police responded to the Samoa-Tokelau Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Banyan Street at about 1 p.m. and arrested 59-year-old Violesolo Tavita on suspicion of attempted murder.
It's unclear, however, what led to the shooting.
Tavita was charged Sunday with second-degree attempted murder, use of firearm in commission of a felony and place to keep firearm. Her bail was set at $250,000.
The victim was listed in stable condition at last check.
