HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Justin Bieber is not saying "Sorry" to his fans!  The pop star says he will no longer take any more pictures with fans.  The 22-year old made the announcement in an Instagram post yesterday.  He said he feels 'like a zoo animal.'   The post was reportedly inspired by an incident at a Boston sports bar.  A family approached him, requested a photo, and when they were denied, they implied they deserved a photo because they bought his album.

Sweet song being played on the Willie K model, beautifully made by Kanile'a 'Ukulele  That's off the Kanile'a 'Ukulele page; he also mentions that you can catch him tonight at the "Best Dinner Show On Maui" at Mulligan's On The Blue in Wailea!"

Speaking of the ukulele; Hawaii Recording Artist Keale is on the road, sharing aloha with those down under.  That's not just a group of people enjoying the four sting instrument with Walt Keale, it's the Central Coast Ukulele Club of Australia!

Mahealani founded BRAVE Hawaii, a school program that encourages school youth to be respectful and value everyone.  Brave Hawaii just announced a new song and music video featuring Mahealani and Hawaii Hip-Hop artist Justice Moon.  Justice Moon is a local boy from Wahiawa with 6 releases under his belt; Mahealani is the current Miss Jr. Teen Hawaii United States and is the daughter of comedian/Cheap Eats host Augie T.

We showed pictures from more than 50 years ago.  They show the construction of the Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor.. back in the 60's.  Here's something you may not have known.  In 1961, Elvis Presley helped to raise more than 50-thousand dollars for the memorial, by performing a benefit concert at Pearl Harbor's Block Arena.  That was more than 10 percent of the final cost. Elvis had just finished serving two years in the U.S. Army.  These photos come from the Hawaii State Archives.  You can check them out at Hawaii News Now-dot-com.

As I mentioned at the end of the show yesterday, my guest blogger is Kuana Torres Kahele where he talks about his experience of sharing the aloha spirit, music and hula thru Europe.  You can find that on my Billy V Blog
