HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Authorities are searching for a work furlough program inmate who did not return to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center after work on Wednesday.
Glenn Bisarra, who's serving time for second-degree assault, left in the morning and was scheduled to return at 8:30 p.m., authorities said.
A second-degree escape charge is expected to be added if he is located.
The 33-year-old is classified as community custody, the lowest custody level.
He is 5'4" and weighs about 150 pounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
