HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Steady tradewinds will hold tonight with comfortable humidity levels and good air quality. Remnant moisture from an old cold front continues to drop scattered showers over the east end of the state, while the atmosphere is drying up from Kauai to Molokai.
Light variable winds are due back Thursday, lingering through Saturday with increasing humidity levels as well as more vog and haze. The light winds combined with moisture from the old front will enhance shower activity, especially in the afternoons. Spotty downpours are possible.
Surf along all shores will remain below advisory levels through rest of this week. The current north and south swells are gradually declining. A small, long period northwest is possible Friday through Saturday.
