HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The musical group "A Touch of Gold" broke out in song on Molokai  this weekend after their Mother's Day show.  Yes, they were at the airport; they were just having fun while they were waiting.

We say Happy Birthday to Hawaii Recording Artist/Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Fiji:  He got a Happy Birthday shoutout from the group Kapena on Facebook;  "I wanna wish my Braddah the King of Polynesian reggae music a very Happy Birthday!!!"

Manoa DNA member Alx Kawakami lives in Los Angeles, but he is still a member of the group and flies back and forth for gigs and to tour with Nick and Dad.  He has a new song and music video ; it's a song he wrote to surprise his then fiance Sarah for their wedding called "Smile"  She told him to choose one of their favorite songs as their first dance.  He decided to write one instead; it's now out and available on iTunes.
