A surface high northwest of the state will continue to bring us moderate to breezy trade winds today. A few clouds and showers will ride in on those trades falling mainly over windward neighborhoods.
High today in Honolulu will be 82 degrees.
Winds will ease Thursday through the weekend. They will be light trades in the morning and sea breezes in the afternoon.
An upper level disturbance may enhance afternoon showers over mauka and leeward neighborhoods Saturday and Sunday. Stronger trades should return early next week.
Surf along all shores will remain below advisory levels. A small long-period northwest swell is expected to arrive Friday, then slowly decline during the weekend. South shores will continue to see small long-period swells, with a small bump expected to arrive late Monday.
No weather or marine advisories are posted.
