Forecast: Showers expected to linger overnight

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Leftovers from a weak front will linger over the east end of the state providing more scattered showers favoring windward areas. Rainfall totals will be light to moderate. The showers are expected to move west later in the week.

Breezy tradewinds persist tonight and Wednesday with comfortable humidity levels and great air quality.

Winds will ease, becoming light and variable later in the week. SE winds this weekend could bring showery, muggy and voggy conditions to the state. High today in Honolulu will be around 84 degrees.

Surf along all shores will remain below advisory levels through rest of this week. The current north and south swells are gradually declining. A small, long period northwest is possible Friday through Saturday.
