HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Leftovers from an old front will continue to swamp parts of Maui through tomorrow while the rest of the state dries up. FLASH FLOOD WATCH for Windward and East Maui will remain posted until Tuesday morning.
Drier conditions with moderate to breezy trade winds will persist over Oahu and Kauai. The trades will ease later in the week. High today in Honolulu will be 82 degrees with gusty NE trades at 10-20 mph.
A small boost will keep north shore surf elevated with slightly overhead waves. The south swell is declining with some 3-5' surf Tuesday.
