Moisture from an old front and light winds will result in an unsettled weather pattern today and tomorrow.

Winds will be light and variable. Interior neighborhoods could see clouds and showers form with sea breezes in the afternoon. Volcanic haze will increase today through Friday. High today in Honolulu will be a hot and sticky 85 degrees.

A weak, late season front is expected to move down the island chain late Friday. Drier, cooler weather with breezy trades will build in right behind that front for the weekend.

A small northwest bump is currently peaking. A gradual drop is expected the rest of today. A reinforcing north-northwest swell of moderate size is due Friday evening into Sunday. South shores will get some waves as well.

A good size bump is slated to start rolling in today with surf heights building to at or near advisory level as early as Saturday. A slightly larger reinforcing bump with a 15-second period is expected Saturday night through most of Sunday.

No marine or weather advisories posted.
