HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Breezy tradewinds will persist through the first part of next week with comfortable humidity levels and great air quality. Rainfall will be mostly of the light variety, favoring windward and mauka neighborhoods, falling mainly in the overnight and early morning hours.

Small swells from the northwest will continue through the weekend. Surf along south facing shores should increase somewhat during the weekend and into early next week as a swell from east of New Zealand reaches the islands. East side surf will be up and down with the trade winds.

Small Craft Advisory until 6 AM Saturday for Maalaea Bay, Pailolo channel, Alenuihaha channel, Big Island leeward waters.
