City says expect more traffic, less parking at Blaisdell this weekend

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The City and County of Honolulu wants to forewarn the public to be prepared for more traffic and limited parking at the Neal Blaisdell Center this weekend due to several events.

With the touring production of “The Book of Mormon” wrapping up its final days in Honolulu in addition to the 19th annual Spring Crafts and Food Expo and Kevin Hart shows, city officials say it’s going to be a busy weekend at the Blaisdell.

The city said additional parking will be available at McKinley High School on Friday and Saturday. Drivers can enter via Pensacola Street.

Friday, April 29, 2016

  • 19th Annual Spring Crafts and Food Expo – Exhibition Hall – 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Book of Mormon – Concert Hall – 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 30, 2016

  • 19th Annual Spring Crafts and Food Expo – Exhibition Hall – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Book of Mormon – Concert Hall – Two shows at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • Kevin Hart: What Now Tour – Arena – Two shows at 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 1, 2016

  • 19th Annual Spring Crafts and Food Expo – Exhibition Hall – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Book of Mormon – Concert Hall – 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
