HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Breezy tradewinds will persist through Thursday, slowing slightly for the weekend. Rainfall will come down mainly in the overnight and early morning hours with light to moderate totals favoring windward areas.
Swells island wide will be dropping Thursday. Another northwest swell with below advisory level wave heights is due in late Friday. The short period trade wind swell will increase slightly Thursday due to the stronger trades.
Small Craft Advisory until 6 pm Thursday for Maalaea Bay, Pailolo channel, Alenuihaha channel, Big Island leeward waters, Big Island southeast waters.
