HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - This Saturday, April 30th, the 14th Annual Spam Jam takes over Kalakaua Avenue. The yearly street festival that is all things spam will have twelve food vendors - each serving a spam dish including spam tempura fries, spam chips and the ever popular spam mususbi. There will also be live entertainment on two stages - there will be a fire dance, Raiatea Helm and Hiroshima will be amongst the performers
In addition there will be two tents set-up for the Hawaii Foodbank where they will be taking monetary and food donations and you can enter to win a trip for two to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies.
This year we will also have Hello Kitty visiting and people can get their photo taken with her along with Spammy and other characters.
In addition, the Outrigger resorts will have a wave made of Spam cans that people can take photographs on and lots of Spam merchandise and Hawaiian crafts.
