Culture Club to perform at Blaisdell Arena

One of the biggest pop bands from the 80's will rock the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena on Saturday, June 26.

Culture Club, who racked up seven straight Top 10 hits in the UK and nine Top 10 singles in the US will take the stage for an event open to all ages.

Their most popular songs include 'Karma Chameleon,' which sold over five million copies worldwide and 'Time (Clock of the Heart),' which has also been included on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of 500 songs that shaped rock and roll.

Tickets will go on sale on May 2 at 9 a.m. on TicketMaster.com, the Blaisdell Box office or at Walmart stores on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for their 8 p.m. show. Prices are as follows:

  • $125.00 in advance plus applicable fees, increase day of the show plus applicable fees
  • $99.50 in advance plus applicable fees, increase day of the show plus applicable fees
  • $89.50 in advance plus applicable fees, increase day of the show plus applicable fees
  • $79.50 in advance plus applicable fees, increase day of the show plus applicable fees
  • $69.50 in advance plus applicable fees, increase day of the show plus applicable fees

    The state Department of Health has notified the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corporation of possible water violations in their water system, a company spokesperson said Saturday.
