HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - House and Senate voice votes come next on the plan to include Alexander & Baldwin in the water rights bill. House Speaker Joe Souki says he knows the issue is sensitive but thinks the agreement is realistic and reasonable. One requirement in the bill – that any action be in the public interest.

HMS Host, the company with the contract to run the restaurants at the airport, has a job fair today. It's 9 to 2 at the Oahu Worklinks office in Dillingham Plaza. It's hiring for summer jobs.

The mayor of Zhongshan, China, visits Honolulu. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce has a reception for him today at Jade Dynasty restaurant at Ala Moana Center. More on the Chinese Chamber website.

The Honolulu Museum of Art names a new director of development. Cara Mazzei comes from the Hawaii Community Foundation.

The Fairmont Kea Lani says it's close to completing a 500 kilowatt rooftop solar installation – more than 15 hundred panels – enough power for 138 homes, or 10% of the resort's power needs. It should be finished in June.

Outrigger opens in first branded Voyager 47 Club – at the Outrigger Reef – this is a new thing for special guests, with future Voyager 47s in Phuket and on Guam.
