HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A University of Hawaii football player arrested for a domestic incident has been charged, the city prosecutor's office said.
Defensive tackle Kennedy Tulimasealii was charged Friday for resisting arrest, harassment and two counts of third-degree assault.
Honolulu police initially arrested Tulimasealii on April 12 for abuse of a family or household member. Authorities said he got into a scuffle with police following an argument with his girlfriend at a McCully Street apartment.
He has since been suspended from the UH football team.
Tulimasealii is scheduled to be arraigned in district court on May 10 at 8:30 a.m.
